High School Social Skills Group, Leader
High School Social Skills Group: Ages: 16-22 Thursdays 4:30 – 5:30 p.m. at Main
A therapy group for individuals in High School or who have recently graduated who are diagnosed with a Mild Intellectual Disability or Autism. This group will address important social issues such as friendships, dating, problem solving, coping skills, and appropriate self-expression. Members of this group are able to attend to task and hold conversations with others.
Children’s Process Group
Children’s Process Group: Ages 6-10; Tuesdays 4:00-4:45 at Main
This interactive group is for children interested in making new friends, learning to manage feelings, improving communication skills, and developing problem solving skills in the social environment. Children in this group are able to attend to task and hold a basic conversation before entering the group.
Children ages 11-15 Wednesdays 4:00-5:00pm at Main
Are you looking for an opportunity where your child can meet new friends, learn functional communication skills, and improve their social skills? Conversations is the place where your child can develop these important skills. No musical talent is necessary.
Children: Ages 11-15; meets on Tuesdays 4:30-5:15 p.m. at Main Center
A processing group for teens/pre-teens struggling with attention deficits. Goals include attending to task, following directions, anger management, coping with common teenage/pre-teen social issues, understanding and interpreting non-verbal social cues.
