WHAT WE DO
Innovations in Learning is able to help through individual and group therapy services. Our therapists are experienced in working with a variety of diagnosis, with specialization in working with children and adults with special needs and other behavioral disorders such as:

WHAT TO EXPECT
An initial evaluation will be completed, which will include a thorough psychosocial history. Following the initial evaluation, your therapist will determine individualized goals, treatment modality and frequency of sessions to best meet your needs. Therapy is an interactive process that may include both the individual and family members. Our therapists utilize a behavioral/cognitive-behavioral approach to treatment. Daytime and evening appointments are available.

FUNDING
We accept Medicare, Medicaid and most major health insurances. Coverage is dependent upon your individual plan.
Jennifer A. Ferrara, LMHC, BCBA
Jennifer A. Ferrara, LMHC, BCBA, joined the Innovations’ team in January 2010. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne in 1999. After working several years in the field, Jennifer went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Purdue Calumet in 2004 and received a certificate in Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in 2014. Jennifer is now a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. Jennifer has over 20 years of experience in the social services field, working with children and adults diagnosed with Autism, behavioral disorders and other mental health issues. Jennifer oversees the Outpatient Department while continuing to provide therapy services. Jennifer is also involved in special projects to assist Innovations’ in maintaining quality services. Jennifer is married and has two children. She is active in her children’s activities and enjoys arts and crafts, reading and camping in her free time.
